Celebrating Tradition: Saint-Barbe at CSC

A Festive Saint-Barbe Full of Joy and Unity On this special occasion of Saint-Barbe, CSC came alive with vibrant traditions, delicious treats, and heartwarming moments that brought everyone together. Students and teachers celebrated by donning colorful costumes, sharing traditional snacks like wheat and desserts, and enjoying the lively spirit of the event. The day was filled with laughter, and a sense of community that made it truly memorable. Saint-Barbe reminded us of the importance of preserving our heritage while creating new memories as one big CSC family. Tradition is the thread that weaves the past into the fabric of our future.

Victory in Full Swing

CSC Dominates the Court Against CSS On Saturday, November 30, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, CSC’s basketball team took on CSS at Forum Chiah in a thrilling match. The atmosphere was alive with chants, energy, and even the rhythmic beats of a derbakke, played by Toufic, adding to the excitement. The audience, a mix of current students from Grades 10, 11, and 12, alongside alumni (Anciens), showed immense support throughout the game. Our team, primarily made up of Grade 11 students, showcased outstanding talent, especially the bombastic trio: Adam Idris, Ryan Chehwen, and Ryan Hachem. Together, they led CSC to an impressive victory with a final score of 68-30. The players’ teamwork and determination made every second of the game unforgettable. Great teams are built on passion, unity, and moments like these.

CSC’s Memorable Football Night !!

CSC vs. ZEI: A Match to Remember On Saturday, November 23, from 8 PM to 10 PM, the CSC football team faced off against ZEI at Elite FB Academy. With nearly 100 supporters in attendance, the atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers, chants, and unwavering support. Despite the final score of 4-2 in ZEI’s favor, the night was packed with unforgettable moments. Omar Janoun delivered a stunning last-minute goal that left everyone in awe, and although Mohamad Jibai had to leave the match due to a minor injury, his determination inspired us all. Pio brought the crowd together, leading chants that echoed through the field, while motivational quotes displayed on colorful signs reminded our team of the love and pride we have for them. Though we didn’t claim victory on the scoreboard, our football team truly won in spirit and effort. Champions are not only defined by wins but by their heart and resilience.

PINK OCTOBER

Breast cancer awareness month Raising awareness and reminding everyone about breast cancer is important to us. To mark this occasion, we dressed in pink and organized a bake sale during lunchtime, offering pink-themed treats like donuts, juice, marshmallow, and popcorn. We created a giant pink donut frame and encouraged younger classes to join in, take photos, and have fun. The event ran smoothly thanks to the incredible efforts, planning, and determination of every student who helped—whether selling, preparing, organizing, or promoting around school. It was a team effort we’re proud of! Together, we stand stronger and brighter, for a cause that touches us all.

Last First Day (Celebration)

Big day, but not as big as our love! On this long-awaited day, we finally came together with some of our teachers and enjoyed a big buffet of snacks and treats. We filled the day with pictures, laughter, colors, and celebration, making the most of every moment. This truly marks the real start of the year. Even through tough times and challenges, we stay united as one big family. Last First Day (Class of 2025)

Pictures For Days With bigger smiles, more decorations and frames, and even more friends to share the joy with, this reunion marked our first official gathering of the year and the beginning of many events designed to strengthen bonds across classes. Despite the delay in celebration due to recent developments in Lebanon, we still had an incredible time and captured unforgettable photos. Even in uncertain times, togetherness shines brightest.

Last First Day (BAC FR)

Last First Day or Last day?? It’s our last first day at CSC, and as Bac-Français students, we start school a few days earlier than Lebanese Baccalaureate students. Not wanting to celebrate our 'Last First Day' without them – since we all consider ourselves the Class of 2025 – but also not wanting to let this special day go to waste, we decided to make a Bac-Français themed frame and capture the moment with some photos. Every ending is the beginning of memories we'll carry forever Privacy warning:  all pictures are already posted online and freely available to crop and download from @cscbacfr25 on insta. I wont include individual pictures (unless requested), I'll only use some pictures taken in groups instead (randomly)
